CES 2019 and MEK MINI

by January 3rd, 2019

I don’t often post games related stuff, but this mini PC from Zotac looks like it could be a tidy little home recording studio setup as well!! I always wanted one of Zotac’s ZBox mini pcs, but this looks great!

In the limelight at CES will be MEK MINI, the diminutive addition to the ZOTAC GAMING MEK Gaming PC series that challenges to be one of the world’s smallest desktop gaming system with desktop-class performance. Alongside will be unique editions of MEK MINI with a splash of colour that will debut exclusive to CES.
Designed to game strong everywhere it goes, MEK MINI boasts an ultra-compact and well-ventilated design in just a mere 9.18L. It comes packing a six-core Intel® Core™ i7 processor and a discrete ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX™ 20-series mini graphics card to power through the most demanding games today while supporting games featuring ray-tracing and DLSS.

MEK MINI is optimized for speed with an NVMe M.2 SSD as the primary drive and is backed up by 16GB of fast DDR4 memory. While blazing fast performance is guaranteed, there is also more  headroom for gamers to install a wider selections of games to the 2TB large capacity hard drive. Armed with Killer Gigabit Ethernet and Killer Wireless technology, MEK MINI also delivers the fastest and most reliable connection on both wires and wireless in which online game, video, and audio take priority

“The small-but-mighty MEK MINI is the ideal compact gaming PC that transforms your next destination into another gaming station. Its light weight and travel-friendly design allows it to be used in incredibly diverse environments – in LAN parties, eSports competitions, public demonstrations, at work or at home – perfect for gamers who want to enjoy high-end gaming no matter where they are,”

said Jacky Huang, Product Director of ZOTAC Technology.
