Exciting non-official Minecraft event offers opportunity to meet well-known YouTube bloggers, engage in live gaming and partake in Q&A sessions; plethora of time and resources poured into Parent’s Zone, adult education forum and kid’s workshops.

On March 5 and 6, Nethermined 2, a non-official Minecraft event designed to bring together enthusiast elements of the Minecraft community, will take place at Event Northumbria in Newcastle, UK and will feature opportunities to meet well-known YouTube bloggers, engage in live gaming and partake in panel sessions.
Unique to Nethermined 2 will be a dedicated Parent’s Zone, participation by Minecraft Educators to provide parents a different perspective on the game’s educational benefits and a plethora of kid’s workshops.

A host of sponsors and companies have provided PCs, networking and Wi-Fi setup for Nethermined 2, with 20 PCs going to the Parent’s Zone and workshops and two rigs for live gaming being supplied by local IT firm CavTech. Networking and mobile broadband provision and support is being handled by ITXpress, an independent provider of IT support, telecommunications, VoIP, networking and server solutions, while Coatsink will be bringing along two Oculus Rifts and Samsung Gear VRs so attendees can experience their popular games. Further, Computer Planet will be providing 10 gaming rigs for live gaming sessions and for use with the Oculus Rifts.
