Sega Bolsters Cross-Platform, Free-to-Play Gaming Strategy With Gogogic Partnershi (IOS)

SEGA® Europe, Ltd. and SEGA® of America, Inc. today announced their partnership with Gogogic ehf. to develop Godsrule: War of Mortals™, a free-to-play, cross-platform build and battle game planned for an early 2013 launch. SEGA is already a pioneer in the console and mobile interactive entertainment space and, with this partnership, seeks to solidify its position as a leader in the free-to-play and cross-platform gaming space.

Based in Reykjavík, Iceland, Gogogic is a leading developer of multiplayer games for browsers and mobile devices.  Their games span multiple platforms which include the iOS hit, Tiny Places and the ground-breaking MMO, Vikings of Thule.

Godsrule is currently in Closed Beta for browser and iPad. Players can register at www.playgodsrule.com and receive free premium currency for a limited time.
