ZOWIEGEAR SpawN-Series Swift mouse mat Review (OTHER)

Have ZOWIEGEAR and SpawN done it again… oh yes yes yes yes yes!

Not so long ago I was sent the SpawN P-TF, a mouse mat that for me, set a new standard for mouse mats. The bar was pretty high previously, with the awesome QPAD Heaton already scoring an impressive 9 out of 10, so the SpawN’s 10 / 10 was hard earned. However the 2 mouse mats were chalk and cheese. The Heaton was a hard surfaced plastic mat, where as the SpawN was a hybrid cloth surface. I was left imagining what ZOWIEGEAR and SpawN could bring to the table if they decided to create a hard surface mat together.

But now I need wonder no longer, ’cause that’s just what they did!

Welcome the new SpawN-Series Swift, a new standard in plastic coated mouse mats.
Much thinner than the HeatoN, with an innovative yet ingeniously simple beveled edge, this is by far the most comfortable, non cloth based mouse mat I have used. None of the nonsense I have had from some where they cut into my wrist and arm!

The perfect plastic surface

The upper part of the mat is made from a textured plastic compound which provides a fast and accurate surface for you to game on. In testing I noticed no loss of tracking, stuttering or jumping.

The underside is made from a sticky rubber, that keeps the mouse mat from moving on most surfaces. What is quite nice about the underside is that it can be washed to make sure it never loses its grip.

340 x 290 mm it is bigger than a standard mouse mat, but still small enough to get into a rucksack and at just 2mm thick gives you a very low profile on the table.

From its thin profile, to its clever nonstick underside all the way to its rounded edges, ZOWIEGEAR and SpawN have done it again with this is a little stunner! The perfect plastic surface. Oh, and it comes in red, blue OR black!
