Second headline sponsor confirmed for GAMEfest 2011

GAME, the UK’s leading games retailer and organisers of the UK’s newest consumer gaming show, is delighted to announce that PlayStation� has confirmed its status as headline sponsor for the inaugural GAMEfest.

This sponsorship announcement sees PlayStation join Microsoft as headline sponsors – meaning that all three console manufacturers have now signed up to the consumer show to show their latest games and products.

Second headline sponsor confirmed for GAMEfest 2011 GAMEfest will run from the 16-18 September 2011 at the Birmingham NEC.

Alan Duncan, Marketing Director for PlayStation said: “We are delighted to support GAMEfest 2011, and thrilled to offer UK consumers the opportunity to be able to get hands-on with our latest line up including the much anticipated Resistance 3 and the sequel to last year’s game of the year – Uncharted 3.”

GAME UK marketing director Anna-Marie Mason said: “With Sony on-board as a headline sponsor, we are confident that our show is going to be a success. We know that attendees want to get hands-on with PlayStation products and we are delighted to bring Sony’s key titles to UK consumers at our inaugural event.”
