Hideo Kojima sneaks into Eurogamer Expo (OTHER)

Eurogamer goers are in for an extra little treat as Hideo Kojima will be heading one of the developer sessions.

Kojima will be speaking on the afternoon of 27th September. The full developer session programme will be unveiled in the run-up to the show, which runs from 27th-30th September at London’s Earls Court.

Veteran game developer Kojima will be in the United Kingdom to celebrate 25 years of the series that made his name. As well as his talk, the Eurogamer Expo will also host every single existing Metal Gear game on the show floor as part of a special commemoration.

Looking to the future, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, developed by Platinum Games, will also be playable for attendees ahead of its launch.

Publisher Konami is also bringing PES 2013, Zone of the Enders: HD Collection and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate to the Expo. All three will be playable on the show floor.

“We’re amazingly pleased and humbled that Konami and Hideo Kojima have decided to celebrate Metal Gear’s 25th anniversary at the Eurogamer Expo,” said Eurogamer Events Director David Lilley. “Along with their biggest ever playable line-up, it’s a stunning showing from one of the industry’s greatest publishers.”

The Eurogamer Expo is back at London’s Earls Court from 27th-30th September 2012 and is expected to welcome over 50,000 gamers across four days. Tickets are on sale now at www.eurogamerexpo.com.
