Quarrel for iOS Nominated for BAFTA in the “Mobile and Handheld” category (IOS)

UTV Ignition Games is proud to announce that iOS game Quarrel has been named a nominee for the GAME British Academy Video Games Awards 2012 in the “Mobile & Handheld” Category. Quarrel has received worldwide acclaim for its innovation and stylish approach from leading media outlets including Eurogamer, The Guardian, PocketGamer and BBC, as well as a blossoming community of fans. Quarrel has already won the Best Game category for the British Academy Scotland Awards 2011 (Scottish BAFTA), and was released on Xbox LIVE Arcade this January.

In Quarrel, players fight for dominance over island territories using eight-letter anagrams to build the highest scoring word possible. Competing against a collection of 9 opponents, each with their own distinctive skills and AI, there are four fun ways to play: Quick Match, Make Match, Domination and the global Daily Challenge.
