This weeks Nintendo downloads include The…’The Very Hungry Caterpillar’? (3DS, WII)

A well-known children’s favourite wiggles its way onto WiiWare this week to help children learn the alphabet. The Very Hungry Caterpillar’s ABCs uses fun and colourful flash cards to help little ones master their ABCs by associating words and pictures with each letter. There are also two add-ons available to download to keep the fun filled learning experience going.

Learning can also be fun on your Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DSi this week, as Successfully Learning Mathematics Year 3 launches for Nintendo DSiWare. If you fancy a break from learning, then make sure you float to safety by avoiding enemies and navigating your way through a series of tricky obstacles in the classic Game Boy game, Balloon Kid available on Nintendo 3DS. Also available this week on Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DSi is Double Bloob where you will have to fight to save the planet and free Will, the little dolphin, from his captors all with the help of Doctor Maybe’s ingenious inventions.
