Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Celebrations Kick-off Early at Special Gameplay Events for Fans (360)

To celebrate ten years of the iconic franchise that brought first person shooters to the console generation, Xbox 360 and GAME are hosting Halo gameplay evenings across the country, allowing fans an early opportunity to play Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary before its worldwide release on 15th November 2011.

The events will take place at gamestation’s flagship store on Birmingham New Street (B2 4NS) on Friday 4th November, and then at GAME Kingston Upon Thames (KT1 1NP) on Saturday 12th November, from 7:00 – 10:30pm. Fans can expect a Halo-themed in-store experience, surrounded by iconic artwork from the franchise, and a bank of Xbox 360 consoles loaded with the much-anticipated Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary multiplayer.

 

Bragging rights and huge prizes are up for grabs for gamers who prove they have what it takes to take on the Covenant – including two grand prizes of a Halo: Reach limited edition Xbox 360 console, a Kinect sensor, a copy of Halo Anniversary, an Xbox 360 Bluetooth Headset, one year’s Xbox LIVE Gold subscription and a massive 10,000 Microsoft Points. Other swag up for grabs include Halo T-shirts and Halo Universe R/C vehicles from Zappies Limited.

 

Furthermore, an exclusive deal with Pizza Hut Delivery will see fans treated to a specially created Halo Anniversary pizza at both events.
