NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe S.A.S. today announced that Aero-Cross™ will be the next NAMCO GENERATIONS™ title after Galaga Legions™ DX. Aero-Cross is a re-imagining of the 1985 Namco arcade cult-classic, Metro-Cross, and third entry into the NAMCO GENERATIONS series of downloadable games for Xbox Live� Arcade and PlayStation�Network.
Aero-Cross drops players into a futuristic footrace as runners compete against the clock to finish courses in the fastest time. Runners will navigate courses filled with perilous jumps, roadblocks and other dangers. Players need to make use of different skills and equipment to reach the finish line in time, including slip-streaming behind other runners, air dashes to make long jumps, hoverboards for extra speed and jump pads to avoid hazards on the tracks.
The NAMCO GENERATIONS series aims to bring HD remakes of classic NAMCO arcade games to video game fans across the world. Aero-Cross is the third title in the series, following last year’s award-winning hit, PAC-MAN™ Championship Edition DX, and this summer’s Galaga Legions DX.
