Minecrat – the game that keeps on giving no matter how long you play it.
Note from editor. This is a preview. The score may not be representative of the final game, but we felt this was worth publishing due to how popular Minecraft has become.
This game is only in alpha (which is before Beta stage), let it be known that the reason I am writing a review on a ALPHA portrays the epicness of this game.
Minecraft
This game, being only in alpha, holds some of the most addictive and riveting gameplay out there. It’s eloquent yet simple interface hold no room for error or difficulties. There is no cramming or mass information so you feel completely free. This feeling of complete freedom is amplified by the no pause, no save, and extremely simple 1×1 graphics.
This extremely deep game is worth checking out and worth pre-purchasing
At first glance this graphical “flaw” can turn away some of the more immature gamers; however, it provides such room for imagination, creation, and exploration of ideas. Something worth noting: even though the basic landscape and graphics might seem crippling to the Minecraft experience, Mojang (the creator of the game) delivers some details that cannot be overlooked. The stunning shadow engine, the massive structures, or the addictive sounds of picking up items; these are all simple designs which really put together an amazing game. Each update released adds a sense of detail to the boxy game making the graphics even more pleasurable; on the other hand, once you play this game – graphics mean nothing.
This extremely deep game is worth checking out and worth pre-purchasing, basically for the simple engine which has held this game together in alpha. The next levels of production can be nothing but improved. Mojang will deliver, in my opinion, one of the greatest games to hit the computer.
I hope to see all you in the Nether Realms.
The Bad: It’s only in Alpha, and the graphics might make immature gamers run away (or is that a pro?)
