Open Call for Original Story and Character Concept Submissions; Win Approximately $1,500 in Prizes Including a Wacom Intuos4, Luxology modo and Inclusion in an Animation Magazine Feature Story
Sponsored by Animation Magazine, Luxology® and Wacom®® Technology Corporation, the Bringing Your World to Life contest builds on Hinge Digital’s momentum in developing projects from the graphic novel and creature-feature genres, and serves as an opportunity for creatives to showcase their own unique visions. The creator of the contest’s winning submission will receive a Wacom Intuos®4 tablet, a copy of Luxology modo® 3D software and will be featured in Animation Magazine’s April/May 2010 issue; a prize package with an approximate retail value of $1,500. Hinge Digital may additionally consider the winning concept submission for future adaptation into an original animated series pilot or short film.
“Hinge Digital is focused on telling original stories, developing unique characters and worlds, and collaborating with new talents. We see the Bringing Your World to Life contest as an opportunity to help bring undiscovered talent to the forefront,” explains Roland Gauthier, co-founder of Hinge Digital. “The winning contest submission can be from any story genre and any creative level or background. The only requirements are that each entry is original and compelling.”
All contest submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. PST on Dec. 31, 2010. Only submissions from residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older (not minors) will be considered.
