Our friends at vouchercodes.co.uk have set us a little challenge. – Find five top games at bargain prices. Always looking for a bargain, I accepted the challenge and have pulled together a list of games that I hope you will approve of.
As I have just got an iPhone, I thought I would starts there and choose my first classic game, Prince of Persia: Retro from Ubisoft. This is a superb remake of the 1989 classic that can be yours for just 59p!
Next on my list had to be another iPhone great, Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars Director’s Cut. This is a truly outstanding remake from Revolution Software. Taking the original game, this adds more puzzles and some great additional artwork from Dave Gibbons (of Watchmen fame). The result, a remake that surpasses the original and makes such good use of the iPhones touch screen, you will wonder why there are not more point and click adventures available! Yours for just £2.99.
My next choice is a true PC classic.Half Life 2: The Orange Box! Ok, so it has been out for ages, but at , this is worth a look. Not only is this one of the best games ever made, it also has some of the best add ons ever made. The Orange Box comes complete with two of the best; Team Fortress 2 and Portal. Take a look around and you can get this for as little as £10.99!
Moving over to the consoles for my last two choice, let’s start with After burner: Climax. This is an arcade adrenaline rush at its finest. Switch your brain off, hammer the fire button and relax for an hour or two. Also it has a great sound track.Yours for £9.99 on PSN or XBOX Live!
My final choice is possibly my top game of all time, Batman: Arkham Asylum. Just read the review! Yours for a very generous £14.99 if you look in the right places!
