Following the huge sucess of the “Mapathy” Modern Warfare 2 expension pack (2.5 million units sold so far), Activision are planning a release for a new set of maps following the same idea.
“Resurgence” will contain 3 new and 2 “recycled” levels from the original Modern Warfare, likely to be priced similarly too. The “Old” maps are reported to be Vacant and Strike, with the new maps titled Carnival (does what it says on the tin – a carnival setting), Trailer Park (a smaller map), and Fuel (larger, with more open areas).
Expect “Resurgence” to hit Xbox marketplace on June 3rd, with PS3 and PC releases to be announced later.
