PSP first details revealed? (PSP)

An ESRB rating for an upcoming PSP game titled “Finger Connection” hints at touch controls, sparking speculation that not only is the new PSP on its way, but also will incorporate touch controls.

Found lurking on the ESRB website by the enterprising bods of Playstation Lifestyle, the rating summary reads thus:

“This is a multiplayer party game in which players spin a wheel that tells them to place their fingers on colored spots on a board. Players lose if their hands become too twisted to place their finger on the chosen spot.”

Surely some kind of proof that the next PSP will have touch? It seems likely, as popular DS and iPhone games could then be adapted to the console too. And with PSP trailing the handheld market by a significant margin, it could be just the boost Sony need.

More when we get it.
