A high quality mouse mat that should suit all needs… I love it!
So we have reviewed a load of mice recently, so now it is time to get a few more mouse mats (pads) in. First up and one of my personal favourites, is the ZOWIEGEAR SpawN.
This high quality mouse mat /pad has been designed in collaboration with Abdisamad Mohamed, also know in the gaming world as SpawN. According to the website he has helped them to design a surface with less friction, high precision and that is easy to clean!
This represents a near perfect mouse mat / pad
What ZOWIEGEAR has produced is a stunning quality mouse mat, that is both comfortable and excellent to use. It is constructed of 4mm of flexible rubber with a custom textured cloth surface (similar to neoprene, the stuff wetsuits are made of!!). The P-TF is a medium sized mat (340 x 290 x 4 mm / 13.4 x 11.4 x 0.16 inch) although here is a larger version, the G-TF (440 x 380 x 4 mm / 13.4 x 11.4 x 0.16 inch ). What makes this mat stand out for me against the competition (such as the QPad Heaton) is the comfort of use. The sewn edge gives a smooth rounded edge for your arm to rest on, rather than the cutting straight edges of other mats.
At the end of the day what mouse mat you use comes down to a personal preference. Some like large oversized mouse mats, some like plastic coated, others cloth. For me, and I have tried a few, this represents a near perfect mouse mat, at a great price (£14.99 at the time of writing).
