New PC Point & Click Adventure Game Announced
Hamburg/Germany: March 7, 2008. In a truly insane move, Daedalic Entertainment has announced Edna and Harvey: The Breakout, a new point & click adventure game that will make do without real-time particle effects, parallax occlusion mapping or integrated physics engine.
?Edna and Harvey brings back the good old days of adventure gaming, when animals were more articulate and 800×600 was considered high-definition?, commented Daedalic managing director Carsten Fichtelmann.
Edna and Harvey: The Breakout is a point & click adventure game in the vein of the genre’s classics. Backgrounds and characters are completely 2D and drawn by hand by a real person in the game’s unique cartoon style. The game’s characters range from odd to genuinely crazy ? twisted
humor guaranteed! Thanks to challenging puzzles, extensive dialogues and more than 120 screens, gamers can look forward to an extraordinarily long gameplay experience.
Edna and Harvey: The Breakout is set to be released in Germany, Austria and Switzerland in May 2008 with additional territories to follow.
