this game brings you back time and time again
Ghost Squad started life in the arcades; I know this personally as I spent a few quid playing this game recently at a certain Motorway Services that will remain anonymous (since I cannot remember which one it was!). The Wii version of the game is in fact a pretty good version, encapsulating the frantic adrenalin rush that takes place while playing this game. Its fast and furious. So fast in fact it’s over in 25 minutes. Yep, you read that right, not 25 hours, but 25 minutes- perfect for pick up and play that the Wii is so good at.
For example you start off with a semi automatic rifle, for the second play you get a shotgun, and the third gets you a handgun. As expected each of these guns has advantages and disadvantages. These range from accuracy and power to size of magazine. You can only use one gun for each run-through so if you realise it’s a crap gun half way through a level, its tough, as you have to keep it until the end of the game. Since this game is only 25 minutes, that isn’t a problem. As for costumes you get lots of variety from desert camouflage to a Panda suit. Later on you even get the option to play against bikini-clad terrorists and to play the full game in Ninja mode- complete with ninja throwing stars!
The Bad: Only 25 mins long, need a zapper to get full effect
