Condor ? The Competition Soaring Simulator (PC)

Condor is designed to recreate the ultimate experience of competition soaring on your PC. With Condor, you play with the atmosphere, riding the air currents, searching for that elusive lift. It’s all about reading an environment that constantly changes, learning to see the detail in the clouds.

Developers, Condor Soaring, have concentrated on creating an environment which will immerse the player in a genuine competition flying experience. Aerodynamics and weather physics were a major focus of the development, and the result is an amazingly realistic feel of flight incorporating all the weather conditions and challenges which face a real soaring pilot on a competition day.

Graphics have also been lovingly created, with villages being modeled with individual houses. However, the scenery is not just for admiring and crashing into ? open fields in the sun get warm, just like in real life, and produce thermals; air runs up the sides of hills and mountains for ridge soaring.

Condor is aimed at all levels with the excellent flight school for beginners and competition mode for more experienced players. Save flights and analyse them afterwards to improve your skills. Condor is great for learning, or for playing alone. It also incorporates a multiplayer feature so you can compete with other simmers around the world.

After critical acclaim as a downloadable game, Condor will soon be available from your local retail store from November 2007.
