Warioware Smooth Moves Review (WII)

This could have been the greatest Party game ever…

First off the blocks from Nintendo in 2007 is the master of the party, on the ultimate party console- WarioWare for the Wii.

There are over 200 mini games on offer.

Now I first played this game back in September last year when I spent a wonderful afternoon playing on Nintendo’s great white hope- the future of gaming maybe?

To tell you the truth I went away after playing the demo version of Smooth Moves somewhat confused- it consisted of about 10, 10-second, single player mini games?. which showcased the awesome Wii remote (or Force Baton as it is referred to here). This was all very well and good- but surely the final game will be a split screen 2 (or even 4) player version of this!

Nope, I am afraid not. If this had been the case, then we would have had a 10 outta 10 review on our hands. It is basically the same as the demo I played. Once you have completed the single player game (which should only take you a few hours) then you unlock some multi player options, but even them are a touch disappointing.
Luckily this is a Nintendo game and the presentation is second to none.

According to the blurb on the box, there are over 200 mini games on offer, I think I’ve currently unlocked about 150, since the replay value comes in the fact each time you play you get different random mini games.

This game is tons of fun, and most games are as mad as a hatter. Best section for me has to be the retro section were the mini games use some classic Nintendo Character such as Mario, Link and Samus.

Yes you do look a prat while playing this game?.but yer just don’t care, coz yer having the time of your gaming lives. It`s just not as good as the DS version!

The Good: Its Frantic, fun and full of Ninty goodness
The Bad: A poor multiplayer game- criminal for what should be a Party classic.
