3RD sense today announced the beta launch of their Multiplayer Online Game, Battle Pool. Available to play for free on their Casual Games portal, Fizzy.com, Battle Pool is unlike any game of pool you’ve ever played before!

Battle Pool is a real time, actioned packed Pool game. Out goes the slow turn based approach of traditional pool games and in comes the fast paced appraoch of both players trying to pot their balls as fast as they can. Whenever you pot a ball, it appears on your openents table, but the trouble is that whenever they pot a ball it appears on your table.

Battle Pool uses the Smartfox Multiplayer Server to manage the Real Time Multiplayer aspects of the game. The core engine is based on the Lightning Pool engine, already a huge favourite of casual games. A download version of Lightning Pool is also available on Fizzy.com
