There are many ways to evolve Pokémon including levelling up, using certain special items, and by trading a Pokémon with a friend.

Successfully evolve Tepig into Pignite, evolve Snivy to unleash Servine or try and evolve Oshawott into Dewott. New to Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version are moves that create special effects when combined in battle. Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, and their evolutions can learn Grass Pledge, Fire Pledge, and Water Pledge respectively. These moves can be used simultaneously in Double Battles and Triple Battles to create powerful combined moves.
