You cannot help play this game with a bloody big cheesy grin on yer chopsThey have not just used the original Sims template; they have reinvented the title for the Ninty fans out there. Taking the basics that everyone loved about the sims, they then added it to the cuteness (and lets face it, weirdness )of Animal Crossing and have created one of the most addictive games on the Wii.
You start off the game as a new resident to an almost deserted town, which you get to name, then create your Sim. This time round your sim looks a lot more stylised and cartoony with big eyes and pointy hair (if you so wish). You dress them up in numerous outfits, and then it's off to see the mayor who informs you that you are a famous Builder who is the only hope for the once thriving town to attract new residents. After building (and decorating) your own house, then you build yourself a workshop, where all subsequent items are created. When decorating, it is possible to make extra special items by taking ?Essence? from the items around you (i.e. apples, happy or sad feelings, wooden spikes) and converting them into paint.
The graphics are bright and colourful in line with the happy feel of this game and the gameplay never seems to get jaded. As with the past sims games, all the sims seem to speak their own weird forign language and instructions are all given via subtitles. There are tasks you can partake to help out the mayor to get his town back to it's previous prosperous, popular state, or you can just have fun around the town, in the great tradition of previous sims games & animal crossing titles. You cannot help play this game with a bloody big cheesy grin on yer chops, and in this day and age, that counts for one hell of a lot in my book!
