Wii points.

Im a bit annoyed with the wii points system to be honest. Before the Wii came out and information was only just starting to come up, there was a rumor going around that once you finish a game, you get a certain amount of wii points depending on how hard the game is. That would of been so much better then having to buy the wii points then buy the games on your wii.

I think it should be something like you earn 1000 wii points for completing a hard wii game like Zelda twilight princess, and 500 points for beating an easier game. Its kind of stooped down to microsofts point basis. I doubt it would severely effect the sales in a negative way to at least try it, and I'm sure a lot more people would want to buy a Wii if that point system was around. It kind of pissed me of when I went onto the wii store for the first time and it came up with " Pay this amount of money for the wii points". Kind of takes the fun out of it.

I guess the point system is kinda endorsed in a game when you get the little leaflet that gets you Nintedo stars. Apparently you can get Wii Points with those, yet I wouldn't say it was a lot.

It is sort of like the MS point system, except all my Wii stars got erased because I didn't use them in time. Never mind that it takes so damned many of them to get anything decent so I was saving them up... I got an email saying they were going to be erased if I didn't use them within a few weeks, had a look at the store and saw there was absolutely nothing worth getting, and then just had to accept I was going to lose them all. Absolutely bloody ridiculous!

Damn...haven't gone onto the store yet due to some internet related troubles but I haven't got that e-mail either. I heard Majora's Mask was added to the store last month and I'm hoping that I have enough stars or points for that (Got something like 5100 Stars).
