“We’ve been working closely with SteelSeries in order to assist the setup of the new structure for SteelSeries in the UK” explained Chris Elt, Director of sales, KUODA.  “As we’ve grown the business to a healthy level, now’s the time it makes sense for SteelSeries to take control of the region” Elt added.

KUODA is renowned for its strengths in sales, marketing, events and PR within the gaming and IT market.  SteelSeries was the company’s second client since its formation.

“KUODA grows brands by generating top down and bottom up consumer and channel demand with an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced team of sales and marketing professionals”, remarked James Dean, Managing Director, KUODA.  “Our business model is designed to enable smaller brands take a foothold in the UK without the large initial overheads of a UK office; it’s a proven concept, and we’re delighted to see SteelSeries grow to the market position it is today!” he added.

The handover will be fully effective from April 1st 2013, which simultaneously sees KUODA’s official appointment to an exciting partnership with QPAD gaming peripherals alongside GUNNAR Optiks technology eyewear as focus gaming brands in its growing product portfolio.

“QPAD was founded in 1997, Sweden, the world’s first to produce mouse pads specifically for gaming and one of the first official sponsors of gaming teams and tournaments.  QPAD produce the official Battlefield pad, a small range of gaming mice and a solid line up of mechanical keyboards, one of few companies to feature black, red, blue and brown cherry switches with LED backlight”, Elt elaborated.  In March 2013, QPAD will launch a range of gaming headsets in the UK, available from VIP distribution.

“It’s an exciting time for KUODA, we’re about to enter Level Next” added Dean, “We wish SteelSeries all the best, and very much look forward to making an impact in the UK with QPAD and GUNNAR”.
