Independent developer, GlitchSoft, is proud to announce their latest action packed iOS game ‘Star Marine: Infinite Ammo’ for the Apple iPhone® & Apple iPod touch®, recently approved by Apple®, is set to be released in the App Store on January 12th.

No hes not a space marine, hes a Star Marine

With its fast and furious gameplay, ‘Star Marine: Infinite Ammo’ has already gained popularity and praise among international journalists prior to its official release. Brought to you by the same team who developed the critically acclaimed Destructopus!, this latest masterpiece from the developer is a Run n’ Gun side-scroller that is inspired by, and features comparable gameplay to iconic titles like Contra, Rapid Reload, and Metal Slug! In this adrenaline rush of a shooter, you play as Arc, a battle hardened drifter who is captured by an alien race in the depths of space. Arc’s capturers plan to enslave him and put his strength to work. Arc however, has other plans! He is a trained and elite Star Marine and in a fury of bullets he is going to take them all down!

Featuring no less than 10 unique and massive bosses (one for each level!), 7 powerful weapons, a full set of marine upgrades, 3 separate gameplay modes including Boss Rush & Survival Mode, 30+ Game Centre Achievements, and over 100+ in game challenges through 4 unique worlds, ‘Star Marine: Infinite Ammo’ is locked and loaded full of features. As GlitchSoft’s latest and most exciting entry, Star Marine: Infinite Ammo is the first to solve Run n’ Gun for iOS touch controls!

A brand new gameplay trailer has just been released by the developer on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=c1iHmkyIha0

Ben Taylor

Well, after 4 years lurking in the darkest corners of YARS, it's probably about time I updated this profile. I'm Ben, one of the senior editors here, and outside of scribbling on here, editing and finding pwetty pics to put in reviews, I'm studying 'Game Cultures' at uni. That's...that's game development in simpler terms, I don't spend my time analysing pixelated toes to determine whether they're 'art' or not. Anyway, I generally write to either save people money on utter crud or at least make them smile in some wry way with my bitterness and general disdain. If you're not laughing with me, you're laughing at me, and hey, that's progress in my books. :)
