Fancy looking the part as both an awesome gamer with a sense of style AND a genuinely lovely person?

YARS

Gaming garment equippers Insert Coin have offered us the chance to bid on a rather swish ‘Monteriggioni’ Hoodie signed by Nolan North (AKA Desmond) himself. At the time of writing, the bidding has shot up to £200 and left me slightly gob-smacked, but should you need further motivation to throw a bid in, all the proceeds go to ‘Special Effect’, a fantastic charity that focuses on giving young people with disibilities the chance to play video games. For example, at Eurogamer, I myself got to have a go at a racing game where I had to control the car with my eyes!

It’s a great piece of kit, it’s autographed by a great man and it’s for a great cause. Should you have a healthy bank balance, be a huge AC fan or simply have a heart of pure platinum, you can find the fantastic hoodie here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280754577227#ht_1790wt_210

Good luck!

Well, after 4 years lurking in the darkest corners of YARS, it's probably about time I updated this profile. I'm Ben, one of the senior editors here, and outside of scribbling on here, editing and finding pwetty pics to put in reviews, I'm studying 'Game Cultures' at uni. That's...that's game development in simpler terms, I don't spend my time analysing pixelated toes to determine whether they're 'art' or not. Anyway, I generally write to either save people money on utter crud or at least make them smile in some wry way with my bitterness and general disdain. If you're not laughing with me, you're laughing at me, and hey, that's progress in my books. :)
