Xbox LIVE at Christmas: Bring Your Family Closer Together (360)

Christmas is a time when family and friends gather to share gifts, indulge in delicious food and drink and of course share in the odd festive film or two in front of the telly. However, if you can’t be near your loved ones this holiday season don’t despair, Xbox LIVE is offering you the chance to share in all the fun through LIVE Party Mode as if you were in the same living room (turkey and chocolates not included).

Xbox LIVE at Christmas: Bring Your Family Closer TogetherWith Xbox LIVE Party Mode you can enjoy films in your own personal cinema from the comfort of your living room, with your avatars being given priority seats in the front row. You can invite your friends and family from across the country or even the globe and with no expensive travel costs, there is no excuse to be separated by distance this Christmas. Chat about your favourite scene or laugh together as your avatars throw popcorn during the show. You can even chat about presents you unwrapped earlier.

A selection of great family films will be on offer in HD through Zune of Xbox 360 throughout the festive season, to bring all ages and family members together. This Christmas Day as you put your feet up and digest the turkey why not settle down to watch cracker Coraline or follow everyone’s number one wizard Harry Potter on his magical adventures. As well as the classic Christmas offerings, these family films showcase the latest offerings from the world of film and include storylines to satisfy both the little ones as well as Granny and Grandpa. With the hundreds of films Zune has on offer there should be no reason to disagree on what to watch!

David Gosen, Vice President Xbox EMEA says “Being able to bring families together to watch films in the virtual space over the festive season is exciting. The LIVE party mode further demonstrates how the launch of Zune, with the ability to stream HD movies instantly on Xbox 360 has changed the face of the traditional console forever.”
